Post #6: I Explain "The Plan" Which You Have Been Waiting to Hear

Xander and I have been walking every night now. He has been helping me work out the kinks in our plan (don't worry, I'm getting to it!). He's such a logical person! Anyway, here's what I have come up with. In the span of a week or so, Xander and I are going to be packing all of our clothing, special possessions, food, and any other necessities. We especially need all of our warm clothing (I shall explain why in a minute). We are also going to save our money and try to earn more. Then we shall meet at 10:30 on Friday night. Xander bought a used car a few days ago, so that's how we will travel.

I asked Xander where he thinks we should drive to. He says Montana is where his dad grew up. There is a lot of land up there, so we will be able to live up there. I agreed. I had never been to Montana before! If I had known that Xander's father grew up in Montana before I knew the truth about the Murrays, I would have refused to even consider Montana. But when Xander asked about moving there, the thought didn't even cross my mind.

I'm so excited. I can't wait till we get there! I'm just sad that I can't tell Aunty! If I did, she would try to stop me, and I'm not sure if I could go against her.

Here is a picture of our journey. It will take us about 33 hours to get from my hometown of Vernon, Vermont, to Malta, Montana, where we will live.
